Cancelling my broadband and telephone line

Unfortunately we are unable to deal with line and broadband cancellation here at Telefonica in English.

To cancel your service.

You will need to telephone Telefonicas customer services on 1004. (1004 is a free phone number in Spain.) When you call them you will hear a Spanish recorded message. You need to ignore this message and wait for the pause, then say, "English Speaking." You will then be put through to an English speaking operator. The operator will the give you a local number which you need to fax your Telefonica factura, NIE or passport and a letter with your signature to cancel your line.

Once you have done this. We recommend you telephone 1004 again to confirm they have received cancellation.

If you are outside of Spain you can contact the customer services by dialling 0034 917040319. Please Note. It is alot easier to speak to an English speaking operator by calling 1004.
