Service Contract - Terms/ Conditions:
1. This offer is not available to existing customers with Movistar Adsl broadband.
The service contract is for 12 months, after that you are free to switch to another broadband and call provider if you wish to do so.
2. To receive this Adsl broadband and Euro Calls service, you must have a connected, working Spanish land line. Telefonica Movistar line rental currently costs 13.97€ plus
2.52€ maintenance plus IVA tax per month.
3. CPS (automatic dialling) for UK and Europe is set by the Euro Calls service provider - Direct Telecom (dT) - to default when contracting this service, see Low Cost Calls.
To receive your monthly inclusive Movistar free calls and make Spanish mobile and national land line calls, you must first dial the 1077 pre-fix before dialling the Spanish phone number you wish to contact.
Total - 550 minutes of calls per month from fixed to mobile or fixed from any operator. 500 minutes per month during the weekends and 50 minutes per month, Monday to Friday.
4. Movistar will accept applications for Adsl broadband for almost everywhere on mainland Spain, the Canaries, Majorca, Ibiza and the rest of the Spanish Islands. This offer is subject to availability, however, acceptance of your application is no guarantee that Adsl coverage is currently available in your area. Availability is subject to your location; Adsl speeds vary with location and also land line quality.
6. It normally takes between 48 hours up to 20 working days for your application to be processed and for a Movistar operator to contact you on the Spanish mobile phone you give in your application. Your line will be activated remotely, the self installing router may be delivered by Zeleris a Movistar contracted Spanish courier/ delivery company and they will call you on your Spanish mobile beforehand to arrange this either with you or your elected keyholder.
A self installing wireless router is included and a simple user manual (PDF) in English is available to customers by contacting customer service on movifresh@live.com if you should need it.
Installation by the engineer should be politely refused as you will incur an additional installation cost charged on your first Movistar bill/ factura.
7. Should no line or Adsl service prove to be available due to lack of infrastructure, any service fee will be refunded in full, as stated in our General Terms and Conditions, please see below.
8. Prices do not include IVA TAX at the current rate. Inclusive call minutes quoted are per month. Offer/ promotion is for 12 months.
9. Billing is by direct debit from your Spanish bank account.
Direct Telecom will provide monthly itemised billing for all calls made at their present rates. You can request paper bills and dT will provide you with a username and password to enable you to access your bills online.
Telefónica will continue to bill you for your line rental of 13.97 + maintenance + IVA per month and for any calls you make via 1077 outside your inclusive call plan at their present rates.
10. Customer services - Movifresh will communicate with you throughout the application, and installation process via email and your Spanish mobile in English.
Once your service has been connected, you
will then be given customer service contact information to call Movistar your line and Adsl provider and dT your European call provider direct in English if you have any billing questions or queries.
