Q. Why should I switch my landline phone rental?
A. When you switch your line rental, you don't have to make changes to your line or even your phone number. All that changes is the price you pay for your telephone calls and who you actually pay your bill to. People switch their line rental for different reasons: to save money, manage their account online and for better customer service.
Q. How much is it to switch and what is the monthly line rental charge?
A. Telefonica charge a one-off fee of just 10€ to transfer your line and the monthly line rental is the same as you currently pay now, 13.97€ plus IVA per month.
Q. Will I receive itemised phone bills?
A. Yes, whichever payment method you choose to pay your phone bill, card or direct debit, you will be sent an itemised bill in English each month, by post or by e-mail. You can also view all the calls you have made free of charge, by logging in to your online account any time of the day and as many times as you wish to do so.
Q. What happens if I have a problem with my phone line after I have transferred over, do I still have to contact Telefonica?
A. No, if you have any problems with your phone line after switching over, you simply contact Direct Telecom to fix the problem, there is no need to contact Telefonica anymore!
